Terms and Conditions
These terms cover two things: (A) use of this website, and (B) the furniture fitting, installation, relocation and subcontracting services supplied by New Concept Installation Ltd. Please read them before requesting a quote. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

A2. Using the site
You may browse the site and use the quote form for genuine enquiries. You must not use the form to send unlawful, abusive or automated content, attempt to interfere with the site's security, or scrape it. We may block access from sources that misuse the site.
A3. Content and copyright
The text, logo and design of the site are owned by New Concept Installation Ltd. The photographs and video are © FRAMING and are used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse any of them without written permission. Third-party trademarks, including the names of furniture and pod manufacturers, belong to their owners; their appearance on this site does not mean they endorse us.
A4. Accuracy
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information. Descriptions of services are not an offer; a binding contract is only formed as set out in Part B. Nothing on the site is professional advice.
A5. External links and embedded content
The site embeds a video from Vimeo and links to external sites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
A6. Availability
We do not promise the site will be available without interruption, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.
Part B: Terms of service
B1. Definitions
"We", "us", "our" means New Concept Installation Ltd. "You" means the person or business ordering the services. "Consumer" means an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. "Business customer" means anyone who is not a consumer. "Quote" means our written quotation. "Services" means the fitting, assembly, installation, dismantling, relocation, snagging or subcontract labour described in the quote. "Site" means the address where the services are carried out.
B2. Quotes and how a contract is formed
- Every job starts with a written, itemised quote. We aim to send quotes within 24 hours of receiving enough information, on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). This is a target, not a guarantee.
- A quote is valid for 30 days from its date unless it says otherwise.
- The quote price is based on the information, photos, drawings and measurements you give us and on the assumptions stated in the quote (for example access, parking, floor and lift availability, that the furniture is complete and undamaged, and that the site is ready). If the reality is materially different we will tell you before continuing and agree any change in writing (see B6).
- A contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) and, where a deposit is requested, when the deposit is received. We will confirm the booking date in writing.
- For consumers, we will give you the information required by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 with the quote, including your cancellation rights, which are set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
B3. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about the job, the site and any access restrictions, and tell us about hidden services (pipes, cables) or fragile finishes you know about.
- Make sure the site is accessible on the agreed date, that there is safe working space, and that any parking, permits, lift bookings, building management approvals or out-of-hours access we need have been arranged, unless the quote says we will arrange them.
- Make sure the furniture, pods or materials are delivered, complete and undamaged, unless the quote includes delivery or supply by us. We will report visible damage or missing parts on arrival, but we are not responsible for manufacturing defects or missing parts in goods we did not supply.
- Where we drill or fix into walls, floors or ceilings, confirm you have the right to do so (for example landlord consent) and tell us about any known hazards.
- Have someone available to make decisions and sign off the completed work.
B4. Our responsibilities
- We will carry out the services with reasonable care and skill, using competent fitters, within a reasonable time, and in line with the quote and any manufacturer's fitting instructions supplied to us.
- We hold public liability insurance. Details of the insurer and the territorial coverage are available on request, as required by the Provision of Services Regulations 2009.
- We will leave the working area tidy and remove our own packaging waste. Removal of the furniture's packaging or old furniture is only included if the quote says so.
- We will comply with site health and safety rules and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
B5. Price and payment
- Prices are as stated in the quote. We will state clearly whether VAT applies. TODO: if the company is VAT registered, state "All prices are exclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate" for business customers and show VAT-inclusive prices to consumers.
- Deposit: for jobs above TODO: £___ we may ask for a deposit of TODO: __% on acceptance. Deposits are refundable as set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- The balance is due on completion for consumers, or within TODO: 14 / 30 days of invoice for business customers, unless the quote says otherwise.
- Payment is by bank transfer to the account shown on our invoice. We will never change bank details by email without a phone call to confirm; if you receive such an email, call us first.
- Late payment by business customers attracts interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. For consumers we may charge interest at 4% a year above the Bank of England base rate from the due date until payment.
- Extra work you request on the day, or waiting time caused by the site not being ready, is charged at the hourly or day rate shown in the quote, agreed with you before it is incurred where practical.
B6. Changes, delays and cancellation
- If you want to change the scope after acceptance, we will quote for the change and it takes effect only when agreed in writing.
- If, on arrival, conditions differ materially from the quote's assumptions (for example the furniture is a different model, access is blocked, or the site is not ready), we will explain the options and any extra cost before continuing. If the job cannot proceed through no fault of ours, we may charge a reasonable call-out fee stated in the quote.
- Booked dates are firm once confirmed. Our cancellation and rescheduling charges, and consumers' statutory 14-day cancellation right, are in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- We will tell you as soon as possible if we need to move a date. If we cancel and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, you may cancel and we will refund any money paid in advance for work not done.
- Neither party is liable for delay caused by events outside its reasonable control (severe weather, strikes, supplier failure, road closures, illness of key staff), provided the affected party tells the other promptly and does what it reasonably can to reduce the delay.
B7. Problems with the work
- Please check the work with us at handover and note anything you are not happy with on the sign-off. Report any later problems to us in writing as soon as you notice them.
- If the services were not carried out with reasonable care and skill, consumers are entitled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to ask us to repeat or fix the work at no cost within a reasonable time, and if that is not possible or not done, to a price reduction. We will attend to remedy genuine fitting defects reported within TODO: 12 months of completion at no charge.
- We are not responsible for defects in goods we did not supply, damage caused by others after handover, misuse, or work by third parties.
- Nothing in this section limits a consumer's statutory rights. Free advice is available from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133.
B8. Liability and insurance
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
- If we damage your property while carrying out the services we will, at our choice, repair it, pay for a repair, or pay the reasonable cost of replacement, subject to our insurance. Please report any damage before our fitters leave site where possible.
- For business customers, our total liability arising from a job is limited to the greater of the price paid for that job or the amount recoverable under our public liability insurance, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss. This limitation does not apply to consumers.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for issues arising from your failure to meet B3, or for the structural suitability of walls, floors or ceilings you ask us to fix into, unless we agreed in the quote to survey them.
B9. Business customers and subcontracting
- When we work as a subcontractor for a fitting, logistics or furniture company, the head contractor remains responsible to its own client. Our terms are those in the accepted quote or, if a separate subcontract or purchase order is signed, that document takes priority.
- White-label work: we will not approach or market to a partner's end-clients directly during the job or for 12 months afterwards without the partner's written consent.
- Business customers confirm the person accepting the quote has authority to do so.
- Each party keeps the other's pricing, client details and site information confidential.
B10. General
- These terms, the quote and our Cancellation and Refund Policy and Privacy Policy form the whole agreement. If a quote and these terms conflict, the quote applies.
- We may transfer our rights to another business, but only with your consent if that would reduce your rights.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable the rest continues to apply.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
- We are not currently members of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. If a dispute cannot be resolved between us, either party may use the courts, and consumers can contact Citizens Advice for free help.
